Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions answered clearly and simply

My parents are slow walkers and get tired easily. Will this actually work for them?

Yes, this is one of the main reasons people choose us. The yatra is planned assuming slower movement. We avoid unnecessary walking, build in sitting time, and are comfortable skipping places if energy drops. No one is pushed to keep up with a schedule.

What happens if my parent refuses to go to a temple after reaching there?

Nothing negative happens. The plan immediately adjusts. One person can rest while others visit, or the visit can be skipped entirely. There is no pressure to complete the itinerary.

How do you handle very crowded situations like Kashi Vishwanath or Magh Mela?

Crowds cannot be eliminated, but stress can be reduced. We choose timings carefully, avoid peak surges, and prioritise calm viewing over close access. If conditions feel overwhelming, we step back instead of pushing through.

What if something goes wrong on-ground — delays, crowds, weather, or fatigue?

We plan with the assumption that things will change. Our role is not to defend a plan, but to adapt calmly. Delays, pauses, or changes are handled without panic or blame.

Is this suitable for someone who has never travelled much before?

Yes. Many travellers are first-time pilgrims or first-time visitors to Kashi. The pace, explanations, and daily flow are kept simple and non-overwhelming.

My parents are emotionally sensitive and get anxious in unfamiliar places. How do you handle that?

We move slowly, explain less, and give people time to settle. Silence, rest, and predictability reduce anxiety far more than constant activity.

Is medical help available if needed?

We are not a medical service, but we plan conservatively. For known conditions, we discuss needs in advance and plan accordingly. For emergencies, we respond practically and responsibly.

What if one family member wants to do rituals and others don’t?

Rituals are optional and handled individually. One person can participate while others rest or wait comfortably.

How do you decide which temples to visit and which to skip?

We start with a broad plan, but final decisions are made on-ground based on crowd levels, energy, and comfort. Completion is never the goal.

Is the yatra religious, spiritual, or cultural?

It is a pilgrimage held with care. We don’t preach or impose belief. People engage at their own depth and comfort.

How much walking should we realistically expect in a day?

Walking is kept minimal and broken into short segments. Long stretches are avoided wherever possible.

What kind of accommodation do you choose?

We prioritise cleanliness, proximity to key areas, and ease of access over luxury branding. The goal is rest, not novelty. But we do not compromise on comfort. You can choose to stay in a specific hotel if you prefer.

Will children get bored?

Children usually respond well when the pace is calm. Boat rides, open ghats, and unstructured time help. We don’t force explanations or long rituals.

Do you handle special requests like Naimisharanyam or Chitrakoot?

Yes, if time and energy allow. We are honest about what is practical within a given duration and do not overpromise. You can add these to your booking if you prefer. We optionally offer all nearby places as add-ons. Pilgrimage are once in a lifetime experiences and we want to make them as special as possible.

How many people travel together?

Groups are intentionally kept small. This allows flexibility and personal attention. We can accommodate up to 10 people in a group. But we recommend a group of 4-6 people for a more personal experience. If you are travelling with a large group, we can accommodate you.

What is your role during the yatra?

Our role is to hold responsibility, anticipate issues, reduce friction, and stay present throughout. We are not just guides. We are here to help you have a safe, comfortable, and memorable journey.

How do payments work?

We discuss costs only after understanding your needs. A token may be requested to secure bookings, followed by balance payments later. We accept payments via bank transfer, UPI, or cash.

Why don’t you show fixed prices upfront?

Because needs vary widely based on age, health, duration, and extensions. Fixed prices create false expectations. We want to be transparent about the costs and let you decide what is right for you. We are not a travel agency. We are a pilgrimage service provider.

What if we need to cancel or change dates?

We handle changes with a human approach. Actual refunds or adjustments depend on third-party bookings, which we explain clearly. We offer flexible cancellation policies and refunds are processed within 7-10 business days.

How is this different from luxury pilgrimage packages?

Luxury focuses on appearance. We focus on ease, dignity, and emotional safety. The real luxury is in the experience are the memories you create. We offer Stay, transport and Food option as per your needs it can be luxury or budget based on your choice.

How is this different from budget tours?

Budget tours optimise cost and coverage. We optimise responsibility and comfort. We dont constraint experiences and your comfort is our priority and not just the cost.

Who usually chooses this kind of yatra?

Families travelling with elders or children, people planning a long-held intention, and those who prefer calm over speed. Travelling with elders or children is a challenging experience and we are here to help you have a safe, comfortable, and memorable journey.

Is this suitable if we are short on time?

Yes, but we will suggest fewer places rather than rushing. A shorter, calmer yatra is better than an exhausting one.

What if after reaching, we feel overwhelmed?

We slow down immediately. Sitting quietly or returning early is always an option. Tirth Yatra is a journey of self discovery and not sightseeing.

How do we begin?

By talking. We start with a conversation, not a booking.
